Our image on a pedestal

My primary source, The original Romeo and Juliet script, generally seen a simple piece of writing, may look as though it has no connection to todays society, however i believe it traces the answers to why people interact a certain way with each other based on emotions. I address this point of view in my paper by analyzing the emotions we see in the play and pointing out how these our own emotions were affected by the images the play promotes. For example, its obvious people struggle in relationships because they strive for this unreal image of a 'perfect romance', but why? What we watch as children and young adults does have weight on how we want to live our lives, I have attempted to give a reason why things impact us the way they do and in what ways. Researching these types of issues is important because it gives you insight on something you do subconsciously and gives you an opportunity to create your own standard for what is practical and enjoyable in life, instead of striving for something of fairy tales.
